Possible Death of Blog

So I don’t think there is going to be much of a reason for me to continue posting here. It may just bet the death of this blog after a couple years of good use. I have found a website that hosts training blogs for free and offers a ton of features that are easy to use, implement, and help plan training with.

I will be posting all of my training sessions at Reactive Training Systems. I already post any training related trivia I value or read on a tumblr account. So between posting information on tumblr and training sessions at RTS, I don’t see much of a use for this blog anymore.

We’ll see if I find a use for it down the road, but for now, don’t expect to find much going on here. Follow along at RTS if you want to see my training and follow along on the tumblr if you want to see what I find to be valuable training information or just cool shit.

  1. I’ve enjoyed your stuff man, I’m sad to see it go. I’ve tried to subscribe the RSS feed on the other one, but I’m not sure it it’s specifically yours?

Well I’ll figure out where the feed is over the next few days. I just copy and pasted the page I was on, but it definitely could have been an incorrect place to get a feed.

I’ve subscribed to a log on that website, so I know it can be done. The guy that runs the site, Mike Tuchscherer, is the raw national champion in the 120kg class of USAPL. He is super legit. Drug tested, just belt/wraps, and trains in his garage by himself.

In my opinion, he’s one of the smartest guys training right now, as far as the methods he’s using. He’s an Air Force Academy graduate and very numbers/data oriented. He tracks everything and will modify his day to day training based on morning measurements of his CNS.

Obviously, for guys like us, that is not necessary as we have far more room for error than someone at the elite level like him. I just think he is a clear thinker and he competes in the toughest federation as far as judging and drug testing, so I like reading his information and training logs.

Here’s a video of his 2011 Raw National win. It’s not even his best effort.
