Possible Death of Blog

So I don’t think there is going to be much of a reason for me to continue posting here. It may just bet the death of this blog after a couple years of good use. I have found a website that hosts training blogs for free and offers a ton of features that are easy to use, implement, and help plan training with.

I will be posting all of my training sessions at Reactive Training Systems. I already post any training related trivia I value or read on a tumblr account. So between posting information on tumblr and training sessions at RTS, I don’t see much of a use for this blog anymore.

We’ll see if I find a use for it down the road, but for now, don’t expect to find much going on here. Follow along at RTS if you want to see my training and follow along on the tumblr if you want to see what I find to be valuable training information or just cool shit.

First day of the new cycle. Went well enough with no major problems. The chins were harder than I was expecting and I struggled to get all 10 on the last set. That will make it difficult to add weight for the next two weeks as planned, but we’ll see how it goes.

So this week is a deload week. I was on vacation over the weekend and missed Monday’s workout, so I did Monday’s and today’s together. Obviously everything was very light, so it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t take anything extra out of me to combine them.

The 135kg felt pretty heavy today, but the 95kg went well. I decided before starting to do 15 and probably could have gutted out 20 if I needed to. Pretty good day overall, although I would’ve liked the 135kg to feel a little better.

Felt awful upon starting today. I have a head cold and everything is hard when you can’t breathe. I’m fairly sure the 130kg was a rep PR though, so at least it isn’t stopping me from being awesome.

Pretty good day. The triceps work was quite difficult and next week will probably be a challenge to complete. The chins felt strong and everything else went smoothly. Week 2 is complete and Monday starts week 3.

On a side note, my girlfriend can now do full chin ups no problem. She did two sets of two a couple days ago and today she did five singles. She’s fucking awesome. She’ll be doing more than most guys soon.

This was a pretty decent workout considering it started with me puking in the gym bathroom. That is not really how I like to start my morning, but it also kind of pissed me off and gave me some aggression going into the squats.
